What's Due Next Week

Hey Gang, from what I saw with the Apache posters, we're missing absolute BASICS in design. And this applies to almost EVERYONE's poster.

  1. PRIORITIZE what you want people to look at first.
    (You don't want something like the bugs to be HUGE on your page).

  2. Be aware of large empty areas, where your eye goes directly to that empty spot.

  3. CONTRAST - Make sure type is ALWAYS readable

All art should contain CRAP -

Contrast, Repetition, Alignment & Proximity




So, our Part 2 of this is to take the element of from our brochure and make a Subway Poster or a Bus Shelter Poster. DESIGN IT as an eye catching, informative poster.

In class, we will take your poster and place it in that environment. And we will ALL critique.

For your final this is what will be DUE:


All projects printed out and mounted or composed.

All InDesign files - packaged, then bunt to a disk so I can view
ALL your files.

Sat. April 24th I have to leave right after class that day, but I will be in the DIC on Friday night.
