Hi Everyone,

Well first off--- I was very disappointed about last week's class.

No snow storm, no spring break and a FLASH day. On the ONE day I'm showing everyone how to do a bit of Flash. Much to my surprise it DID take the entire class. And I handed out "My Contract with You" if you were not in class last week please ask to receive one. It explains grading and EVERYTHING about this class. We will be doing a brief review of the Apache 8 posters. We MUST understand PRIORITIZES images and type in our designs.

Here's what we went over:

Spot Colors

How to print with foils, varnishes and spot varnishes

Flash

  1. How to edit the stage - size and color.

  2. Each layer on the time line must have a KEYFRAME on the beginning of the animation and the end

  3. How to import layers form other programs into Flash

  4. Your images must be SHAPES to morph into another shape

  5. What main panels you should have open for now: PROPERTIES, TIMELINE, LIBRARY and TOOLS

  6. Using a shape tween, motion tween and classic tween

  7. How to use color effects  including Alpha channels can make your image fade in or out
